All asthmatics are told there is no cure and that the best you can do is manage the illness with medication. As in Western medicine pharmaceuticals. There is a cure for asthma, because there is a very specific reason for this illness. The root cause of asthma is dehydration. There are two things that you can do to immediately alleviate asthmatic symptoms: 1) Drink water. Drink 0.5oz of water per pound body weight. A 200 pound person should drink at least 100 oz of water a day. Drink water before having other fluids like milk, coffee, tea, soda or alcohol. Alcohol and caffeine drinks actually remove water from your body. I had asthma as a child and was told that I would grow out of it, which I did by the age of 14. I had no breathing problems that I was aware of until 20 years later.
